Davey, 4 y.o., Autism
My son was diagnosed on the autism spectrum in the summer of 2012 at age 2 ½.  After his diagnosis, my prayer was that God would put in our path whoever my son would need to help him to heal. In January of 2013, I met an amazing mom.  Her son, who also had autism, was six months older than mine.  She described his story of regression, which I could relate to.  When I met her son, his speech was fluent.  He was speaking in full sentences and I could understand him completely.  He was interacting socially with his peers . . . Eddie, 34 y.o., Autism

January 30, 2009 my daily log reads ”I know it is cliché, but I feel as though today is the first day of the rest of our lives, finally hope, a doctor who cares…Dr. Tracy Fritz..” Everyone had given up on Eddie except for us – We kept saying “Autism does not make you sick.” The medical community kept saying, “You are amazing for keeping your son at home, is there anything we can do for you?” Yet they offered us no effective help in treating Eddie's worsening problems with acid reflux, gastrointestinal problems, recurrent infections, skin problems, and most of all his pain . . . Ethan, 12 y.o., ADHD

My name is Natasha, mom to Ethan, age 12. When Ethan was in 1st grade, he was diagnosed as having ADHD and three LD's. Against my better judgment, I agreed to start medicating Ethan for ADHD. Over the next five years of elementary school, the teachers offered that Ethan was a very sweet child, but even with the medicines, he continued to have trouble focusing, was impulsive, and struggled with schoolwork.  The summer before middle school (this past summer) I was beginning to feel desperate as I witnessed my son sinking faster . . . Andrea, 47 y.o., Major Depression, OCD

I am a 47 year old woman who has suffered from depression since early childhood. My depression went untreated for many years. In my thirties I developed OCD that was severe and debilitating at times. At that time I was fortunate enough to find a psychiatrist who, through much trial and error, found a combination of antidepressants that got my depression and OCD under control. I felt much better but the side effects from the drugs I was taking were difficult to live with. I was on three different medications all at the highest possible levels of dosing allowed . . . Continue Reading

Norah, 3 y.o., Joint Pain, Fatigue

As a mother, when your child is sick or suffering all you want to do is heal them (or even simply help them).  For two years, our daughter was suffering from joint pain and other illnesses.  We were left with multiple prescriptions and little or no answers after being treated by our pediatrician, orthopedic, geneticist, pain management team, physical therapist, and rheumatologist. We were referred to Dr. Tracy Fritz.  At last, I found help and hope.  Dr. Fritz and her calming demeanor began to run tests and ask questions looking for WHY our daughter was in such pain . . . Sean, 3 y.o., Autism
We were fortunate that Sean was able to become a patient of Dr. Tracy Fritz shortly after being diagnosed with autism at the age of 3.  Soon after beginning a gluten free/casein free diet and adding in basic supplements, as recommended by Dr. Tracy, we began to see improvements in Sean. For the first time, we were able to have a true conversation with our son. Because Dr. Tracy individualizes the treatment for each child, we continue to see tremendous progress. We never thought that our son would seek out play with peers,. . . Continue Reading

Aaron, 9 y.o., Autism

Our son was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2; he is now 9 years old. We searched for years to find a physician to help define and treat the spectrum of associated behaviors affecting our son.  Fortunately, we found Dr. Tracy Fritz who has helped us by defining medical issues and making effective changes that have improved our son's life dramatically. We are grateful (and relieved) to have found such a caring and knowledgeable  provider to help us with our son's journey back to health.  Many thanks to Dr. Tracy! -- Beth

Jimmy, 13 y.o., Autism
We have been seeing Dr. Fritz for about 2 years. My son is ASD and is now 13yrs old. She is a wonderful doctor!!  She is the first physician in St. Louis that I've found who really understands the gut and health problems that autistic children have.  As a mom who is also a nurse, I'm thankful that Dr. Tracy is patient and listens to parents! She also keeps up with the latest research. My son is continuing to improve both in behavior and cognitive skills since we began going to her. We're thankful she's in St. Louis. -- Laura

Selah, 3 y.o., Autism

My daughter was diagnosed with Autism on Jan. 31, 2013.  She also had terrible constipation that kept her in pain every day.  Looking through the diagnoses material I was given,  I came across a blurb about the GF/CF diet. It was something I could DO.  I put us on the diet the next day, convinced there was a link between her constipation and her other symptoms. She said her first sentence one week later. However, after this initial victory it was a slow slide into helplessness. . . Continue Reading

Tucker, 10 y.o., Sensory Processing Disorder
I cannot say enough how much Dr. Tracy Fritz has helped my son.  The care and expert advice we have received have been exceptional in dealing with healing the whole body, something many have overlooked in today’s world.  Dr. Fritz takes the trust and confidence that her patients place in her so seriously and it has shown through in my son’s health.  I cannot imagine a more qualified or caring medical doctor to treat my son for health concerns and for teaching my entire family a better, healthier way to live. -- Cindi

Amy, Adult, Anxiety and Intestinal Problems

For many years I had been feeling very sick with intestinal issues and anxiety. In 2012 I had gotten to the point that it was difficult for me to eat any foods without feeling sick and I was on an anti-anxiety medication as well. At this point a friend referred me to Dr. Fritz. She did some testing for food intolerances, and I was clearly sensitive to casein and gluten. Dr. Fritz diagnosed me with Intestinal Candida Overgrowth. She put me on supplements to help my intestines heal, I removed all gluten and casein from my diet . . . Continue Reading
